Care points are few. It is important to be sure that plants are grown in well draining mix whether in the garden or pot. They do not like wet feet. Mulching around the plant but not right up to the crown conserves moisture and encourages the plant to keep flowering. Remove spent flowers weekly to encourage many more blooms over a longer period. Leucanthemums do not like to be overfed but need light applications of fertiliser from time to time. In well prepared media in garden or pot with compost incorporated little extra fertilizer will be needed.
